Las Vegas Radiology has installed GE's Senographe DS. This is a full-field digital mammography system designed to meet a broad spectrum of clinical needs from screening and diagnosis to interventional procedures. They system offers advances in image quality, patient comfort and user ergonomics. Average exam can be reduced 10 to 15 minutes compared to 30 or more minutes for traditional film-based mammograms. Senographe DS allows for easier access to lesions for biopsies with the ability to do both vertical and lateral approaches-optimizing biopsy sampling.
